RETURNS POLICY

Returns Authorization – Before returning any goods, a Return Authorization (RA) must be obtained from Aftermarket Forklift Parts. Please reference this RA number on the outside of the box as well as on the packing slip inside the box.  

When you request an RA please include the quantity, the part number, description, and our invoice number, your purchase order number and the exact reason for return. You must prepay all transportation charges.

Defective or incorrectly shipped items will be replaced or we will issue a full credit including freight on defective / incorrectly shipped parts. No credit or allowance will be made for labour or charges other than the purchase price of the goods.

​You must request a return within 30 days of invoice.  Returned merchandise will only be accepted with an issued RA number and ONLY within 30 days of issuing a return authorization number.

​We will inspect all items before accepting them for return. Items must be in new condition.

  • All returned items must be shipped “Freight Prepaid”
  • We can not issue credit on items that were purchased from another parts company. 
  • Credit will NOT be issued for parts damaged due to corrosion, abuse, alteration or misuse.
  • All parts must be returned to our warehouse.
  • Starters and alternators will be tested before issuing credit.

Defective Parts: Return ‘Freight Prepaid’ – They will be inspected and if found to be defective due to manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, a credit will be issued.   Aftermarket Forklift Parts accepts no liability for the cost incurred from a defective part other than the original purchase price of the part or replacement of the part including freight cost.
 
Incorrect Parts:

  • Any parts SHIPPED incorrectly to be returned freight prepaid and a credit will be issued for this freight.
  • The parts must clean and in a sellable condition.
  • Any parts ORDERED incorrectly to be returned ‘Freight Prepaid’.  Parts must be in a clean saleable condition.
  • Non-Stock Parts: Any parts deemed non-stock are non-returnable. Non-stock parts are parts that Aftermarket Forklift Parts buys on your behalf and does not normally stock in its warehouse.
